The coveted time slot after the AFC Championship game broadcast on CBS, scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 23, is going to "Hawaii Five-0," reports Deadline.com.

CBS used a similar strategy to give a boost to a promising freshman show back in 2009, the most recent year that the AFC Championship game aired in prime time, the story notes. That show was "The Mentalist," the article notes.

"Hawaii Five-0" has been a solid performer in its Mondays at 10 p.m. time slot, averaging 13.3 million viewers and ranking as the top-rated new drama.
