Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding theatrical troupe has crowned a television personality who has had an interesting year in 2010 as its 2011 Man of the Year, Entertainment Weekly reports in its PopWatch blog.

Jay Leno is the honoree, and he will be roasted Feb. 4. The organization announced earlier that Julianne Moore is its Woman of the Year.

Leno’s foil, Conan O’Brien, is a Harvard alumnus, the story points out, a fact that could add an extra spark to the proceedings. O’Brien has never been awarded the title, the story says.

Leno is back in his familiar role as host of NBC’s “Tonight Show” after losing the job temporarily to O’Brien. O’Brien now has his own late-night show on TBS.
