Weinstein Co. is planning to re-enter television, with Harvey and Bob Weinstein talking with producer Meryl Poster to run the new Weinstein Co. television arm, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com. 

Poster previously worked with the Weinsteins at Miramax Films, leaving in 2005 as the brothers were about to start Weinstein Co., the story notes. She’s been under a first-look deal at NBC Universal for film and TV, it notes. Miramax TV, under the Weinsteins, has produced such shows as "Project Runway" and the drama "Glory Days."

Poster’s deal with NBC Universal comes up on Feb. 1, and talks have intensified between herself and the Weinsteins, the story notes.
