'Jersey Shore' Star Sues His Father in Copyright Dispute NY Post
One of the stars of the hit reality show “Jersey Shore” has filed a lawsuit against his father in a dispute over copyright, the New York Post reported.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's company is suing his father's website for copyright infringement, the story says. MPS Entertainment, the company owned by the "Jersey Shore" star, alleges that Sorrentino's father and a publisher are using the site for illegal advertising purposes, the story notes.
“The website infringes on our rights, and we just want it taken down," said an attorney for MPS Entertainment. The $75,000 lawsuit also claims that Robert Fletcher, who is publishing Sorrentino's father's tell-all book, "has no real experience in book publishing," the story says.
