Piers Morgan Hits New Ratings Low Deadline

A CNN host who stepped into a high-profile spot in the cable network’s prime-time lineup has notched a milestone: his lowest-rated month in the key news demographic, reports

Piers Morgan, who took over the spot held by CNN fixture Larry King, hit the low point as he approaches his one-year anniversary at the network.

"Piers Morgan Tonight" has averaged 154,000 viewers 25 to 54 in November, down 4% from the numbers for King a year earlier, the story says.

As previously reported, Morgan recently decided to quit his work on NBC's "America's Got Talent" to focus on his CNN program.
