A remake of a classic TV comedy as an hourlong drama will be directed by "X-Men" and "Superman Returns" director Bryan Singer, reports Deadline.com.
The remake of "The Munsters" from Bryan Fuller recently got a pilot order from NBC, as previously reported. Singer joins as director and executive producer, the story notes.
"The Munsters" will be similar to Fuller’s previous show "Pushing Daisies," with a focus on striking visuals, the piece adds. The familiar Munster archetypes will return in the reboot, the story says.
That’s it. It’s screwed.
