Things Heat Up in Snooki’s Licensing Lawsuit

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has been hit with a counterclaim in her legal battle with licensing company SRG Ventures, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

SRG has filed a $7 million counterclaim against Polizzi and her management company, alleging that she sabotaged the deal by talking with brands without SRG’s knowledge and dragging her heels on the deals that SRG bought her, the story says.

Polizzi had filed a suit in October to end her contract with the company, alleging that SRG didn’t fulfill its obligations, as previously reported. A representative for Polizzi said, "Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court," according to the piece.
