One casualty of Demi Moore’s health crisis this week has been her role in “Lovelace,” an upcoming biopic on 1970s porn actress Linda Loveless, in which Moore was set to play Gloria Steinem, MTV reports.

Moore had to drop out of the project and has been replaced by “Weeds” star Mary-Louise Parker, the story reports.

Moore was hospitalized earlier this week for apparent substance-related issues, as previously reported.

The MTV report adds that Madonna has reached out to offer support to Moore, citing an E! News source saying: "Madonna told Demi she was there if she needs anything. They’re pretty tight."

Media reports say Moore’s estranged husband, Ashton Kutcher, is “deeply concerned” about Moore’s condition. Kutcher has not commented publicly about Moore’s current situation, but reportedly returned to Los Angeles Thursday after being in Brazil to shoot a fashion campaign while Moore was in trouble earlier this week.
