PBS has been riding high with its latest hit series, and the service will trumpet its return with a one-hour special, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The series is the "Masterpiece" drama "Downton Abbey," which premieres its second season on PBS on Sunday, Jan. 8. The one-hour special, "Secrets of the Manor House," will air Jan. 22.

The special is being called a "nonfiction look at the lives of British aristocracy during the early 1900s," EW reports.

"Downton Abbey" has been a big hit for PBS, with its first season finishing as the third-most-watched "Masterpiece" program since 1990.
