Temple Hits Up Mel Gibson for Money, Cites Anti-Semitism Allegations TMZ
A California temple is trying to get Mel Gibson to help it out with financial problems, sending a provocative letter to the actor that appears to try to shame him into making a large donation, TMZ.com reports.
The website quotes a letter from Congregation Beth Shalom in Corona saying: "Our proposal to you, Mr. Gibson, is since you have been cited as an Anti-Semitic, and have denied those allegations, what better way to prove to all your fans and the nay Sayers -- than to endorse and help raise funds for our cause -- SOS, Save Our Synagogue."
The temple is having trouble repaying a loan on its synagogue and is trying to head off foreclosure, the story reports. Gibson has reportedly made big contributions to charities in the past, including $5 million to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
A rep for Gibson said he did not know about the request, according to TMZ.

No wonder historically, people look at jews with contempt. It all makes sense.
