Less than 24 hours after the network announced the cancellation of her show, a co-star of the ill-fated Fox drama “Terra Nova” appears to have landed on her feet, reports Deadline.com. Christine Adams jumps from the time-travel drama to the ABC drama pilot "Americana," the story reports.

The ABC project is a family soap that focuses on Robert Soulter, a fashion designer played by Anthony LaPaglia, the story notes. Adams will play his wife, a former supermodel from East Africa.

In "Terra Nova," Adams played Mira, the leader of the Sixers rebel group, the story adds.
