"CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker plans to debut a new multipart drama on Yahoo, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed.

"Cybergeddon," a 90-minute scripted drama, will take on the issue of cyber crime, the piece notes. The project, being described as a "motion picture event," will debut on Yahoo later this year.

"We’re in the generation where behaviors have shifted as to how people consume content on devices and we must be part of trailblazing the future," Zuiker told the publication. Production and casting will begin this month, the story adds.

Yahoo has been in the original scripted content space before, the story notes, with “Electric City” — an animated sci-fi series that has Tom Hanks attached.
