The star of “Terra Nova,” the time-traveling drama whose fate is still undetermined after the show was canceled by Fox, has another job lined up, Deadline.com reports.

CBS’s untitled Ralph Lamb pilot has cast "Terra Nova" star Jason O’Mara, the story reports. But with “Terra Nova’s” producer in talks with Netflix about a possible second season, O’Mara’s role in the CBS project is in second position to "Terra Nova," the story points out.

O’Mara, who played the lead in “Terra Nova” opposite Shelley Conn, has received several pilot offers since Fox canceled the show two weeks ago, the piece adds.

The CBS pilot is set in the 1960s and tracks the true story of Ralph Lamb, played by Dennis Quaid, a rodeo cowboy who became the long-serving sheriff of Las Vegas, the story notes.
