James Bond Villain Tapped to Co-Star in Alan Ball’s ‘Banshee’

An actor who played a henchman in the 1999 James Bond movie "The World Is Not Enough" has been cast in Alan Ball’s "Banshee," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ulrich Thomsen will play an intimidating businessman in the Cinemax project, which stars Anthony Starr as a criminal who pretends to be a sheriff in the town of Banshee, Pa., the story notes.

Thomsen’s character leads a gang and holds himself above the law, according to the article. Ball will work on "Banshee" while also working on HBO’s vampire drama "True Blood," which is producing its fifth season, the story says.
