NBC scored a big win in Monday’s prime-time ratings, with “The Voice” and “Smash” both posting solid gains, TVbytheNumbers.com reports.

NBC easily won the night in the key 18-49 demo, averaging a 4.9 rating to trounce ABC (2.1 average), Fox (1.8) and CBS’s all-repeat lineup (1.8). NBC also notched a big win in total viewers, averaging 13.7 million to 7.6 million for ABC, 6.9 million for CBS and 5.7 million for Fox.

NBC’s two-hour “The Voice” scored a 6.1 average rating in adults 18-49, up 13% from last week, when results were impacted by the delayed Daytona 500. “Smash” was up even more, rising 17% to a 2.7 average.

On ABC, a two-hour edition of “The Bachelor” managed a 2.5 average rating in 18-49, down one-tenth from a week ago.

  1. It is a lot easier when you don’t have to go up against the Daytona 500. These are good shows that had a bad break when the race was postponed and run against them.
