Rock Superstar and His Well-Known Family to Become Animated Series

A rock superstar and his well-known family are being made into an animated series, Reuters reports. A Toronto-based animation studio — Cuppa Coffee Studios, which is also behind Comedy Central’s “Ugly Americans” — is working on a show that brings the Osbournes back to TV.

For now, the show is called “The F’n Osbournes,” with Cuppa Coffee saying the “F” stands for “family” (yeah, right). It’s set to begin production this summer.

Like the original MTV show “The Osbournes,” the show will feature Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack — but this time they’ll be in stop-motion animation. Cuppa Coffee Studios President Adam Shaheen will executive produce with Sharon and Jack Osbourne.

The family members will play themselves on the series, which will be shopped to potential buyers at the MIPTV conference in Cannes, the story says.
