Simon Cowell was reportedly shaken up by an incident at his home in the U.K. Saturday night. Cowell was watching a television interview of himself when a female intruder broke into his house by shattering a window with a brick, reports the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

Cowell, the creator of "The X Factor,” was watching himself on "The Jonathan Ross Show," a British comedy talk show, at the time of the break-in, the story says. He was unharmed in the incident.

He heard a "huge crash" and found "a woman standing there with a brick in her hand," according to Cowell’s representative Max Clifford. "His housekeeper was there and his security was close by so she was quickly apprehended," Clifford said, according to the story.

The woman allegedly smashed his bathroom window and hid in his walk-in wardrobe, according to the article. The woman was identified as Leanne Zaloumis, 29. She appeared in the dock at the West London Magistrates’ Court, and was remanded in custody, the piece adds.

Zaloumis was reportedly charged with aggravated burglary. The case will be heard by a crown court judge on June 12, the story notes.

Cowell once described his multimillion-dollar property as "safe as the Bank of England," the story notes. Zaloumis reportedly went from room to room before she was found, and at one point rested in his bed, the piece adds.
