Writer-Producer From 'Everwood,' 'Dawson's Creek' Scores Deal With ABC Studios Deadline
A writer-producer with a long string of credits including “Everwood” and “Dawson’s Creek” has made the jump from Warner Bros. TV to ABC Studios, Deadline.com reports.
Rina Mimoun signed a two-year overall deal with ABC Studios after a decade at Warner Bros, the story reports. As part of the seven-figure deal, Mimoun will join the upcoming series "Mistresses" as an executive producer and will also develop new projects for the studio.
After working as an intern on “Ned and Stacey” and a staff writer on “Guys Like Us,” Mimoun went to work with Greg Berlanti on “Dawson’s” and followed Berlanti to Warner Bros. She rose through the ranks on “Everwood” to become a co-executive producer and showrunner in the final season.
She created the CW drama “Privileged” and worked on “Gilmore Girls,” “Pushing Daisies” and other shows.
