Kardashian Family Inks Blockbuster Deal With E! Deadline

The Kardashian family has put the finishing touches on a deal with E! that, among other things, will keep the family’s flagship show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” on the cable channel for another three years, reports.

The story reports: “The pact includes orders for seasons seven, eight and nine of the mega-hit reality show and covers the entire Kardashian clan -- Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, and Bruce, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The new agreement also extends E!’s first-look deal with the Kardashians for unscripted ideas, concepts and projects.”

“Keeping Up” has been a ratings smash for E!, its highest-rated series ever, with five episodes of the show taking their place among the channel’s 10 most-watched telecasts of all time, the story notes.

The show has also spawned a number of spinoffs, which are not included in the new agreement. Among those are “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Khloe & Lamar.”

E! is expected to sign a deal soon to lock in Ryan Seacrest, who executive produces “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
