The war of words between reality personality Kim Kardashian and “Mad Men” actor Jon Hamm, which we reported on last month, appears to be over.

TMZ.com reports that the two talked after they both appeared on Thursday night’s live episode of NBC’s “30 Rock,” and according to Kardashian, “We laughed it all off.” Kardashian also said Hamm was “very sweet and very respectful,” according to the report.

As we reported, Hamm was recently quoted in ELLE UK saying: “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly."

Kardashian gently rebuked Hamm in a Twitter post, writing: "We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless."

The TMZ report notes that Kardashian’s role on “30 Rock” was a small one, but she made an impact. Here’s a clip:
