NBC has announced the key players who will be working on its upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics in London, TVNewser reports. Not surprisingly, the network named Bob Costas as the anchor for the prime-time coverage — Costas’ 10th Olympics and the ninth time he will be the main anchor.

Al Michaels and Dan Patrick will team up for the weekend and weekday daytime programming. Patrick, who hosts his own daily sports show on the Audience Network, "The Dan Patrick Show," is new to Olympic coverage, but has a solid background as an “ESPN SportsCenter” anchor.

Mary Carillo will anchor NBC’s late-night coverage for the third straight time. Carillo will also be doing correspondent work for the Games.

Previously announced are the additions of Ryan Seacrest and John McEnroe to the coverage. In his Olympic broadcasting debut, legendary gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi will also be on board.
