TV Station Airs Porn Instead of 'Good Morning America' NY Daily News

[Updated Monday, April 16, 2012, 2:50 p.m., to add news that Comcast took the blame for the mistake.]

Viewers tuning in for ABC’s “Good Morning America” instead got a glimpse of some hard-core porn last week on one local station, the New York Daily News reports.

The glitch happened Thursday morning on the Comcast feed for Colorado station KRDO-TV, where a few seconds of porn accidentally aired instead of the network’s morning show, the story says.

The programming was shown in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colo., the report says, noting that it was quickly replaced by religious programming while work was under way to fix the glitch.

Early versions of the story inaccurately attributed the mistake to the station, but the Daily News later updated its report to say the problem originated with Comcast, the cable company that distributes KRDO programming to its subscribers.
