A number of television stars are among the 24 latest honorees who will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The group includes Bryan Cranston, former “Friends” star Matthew Perry, “Glee” cast member Jane Lynch and daytime talk queen Ellen DeGeneres. Cranston won Emmys three years in a row — from 2008 through 2010 — for the AMC drama “Breaking Bad” and was a regular nominee for the Fox comedy “Malcolm in the Middle,” receiving three nominations from 2002-2006 without winning the trophy.

DeGeneres is another Emmys fixture, racking up Daytime Emmys for her talk show since 2004, winning a writing Emmy for her sitcom “Ellen” in 1997 and piling up a string of Primetime Emmy nominations for her stand-up comedy specials, her sitcom and her hosting gigs on the Oscars and Grammys.

The list of honorees is "light" on film actors but includes radio and performance figures, such as Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block, two of the biggest boy bands of the 1990s, the story notes.

No dates were given for when the stars will be placed.

Television was heavily represented, with Simon Baker and Katey Sagal also among those being added to the Walk of Fame, the story notes.

Others include Javier Bardem, Ron Howard, Viola Davis, Helen Mirren and Jennifer Hudson.
