Fans of a canceled MTV show let their feelings be known at the network’s Los Angeles and New York offices last week, delivering about 500 pairs of pants to the offices in a show of support for the comedy series "I Just Want My Pants Back," Deadline.com reports.
MTV announced May 16 that it has pulled the plug on the show, but producers of the program continue to talk with TV networks and streaming services about picking up the series, the story adds.
In Los Angeles, MTV programming chief David Janollari accepted the pants in the network’s mailroom, with protesters saying the pants represented the show’s impact on them. Some fans hung pants from the Viacom sign and on the lawn in front of the building, the piece notes.
