Almost Entire Cast of A&E Reality Show Fired

The future of an A&E reality show is in question after almost the entire cast received pink slips.

The town of Terrabone, La., got a new sheriff, who promptly fired 24 people on his first day, including five of the seven cast members of ‘Cajun Justice,’ reports TMZ.com.

A sixth cast member quit to support his colleagues, the story notes.

Terrabone Sheriff Jerry Larpenter also banned producers from following anyone in his department, according to the show. The program’s producers had enough tape to finish the first season of the show, but there won’t be any new episodes featuring Larpenter’s team, according to the story.

It’s not clear whether A&E will look for a new department to track or whether the show will be scrapped, the piece notes. A&E and the production company didn’t return calls, the report adds.

  1. Commendations to the new sheriff. It is about time that people got back to work and quit playing to all of these reality shows.

  2. Amen to that man…!

  3. Good!
    Enough said.
