George Zimmerman, in First TV Interview, Says Trayvon Martin Shooting Was 'God's Plan' Fox News

George Zimmerman, appearing on Fox News' "The Sean Hannity Show," said he viewed the shooting incident that led to the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin as "God's plan," according to FoxNews.com.

Zimmerman also said he didn't regret getting out of the car to follow Martin. "I feel it was all God's plan, and for me to second-guess it or judge it ..." Zimmerman said, shaking his head.

Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 incident. He said he acted in self-defense, adding that at first, "I didn't think I hit him." Zimmerman said he found out later the teenager had died.

He said he feels his life is at risk, given that he has received death threats, and noted that he's now in hiding, according to the story.
