Almost all of the regulars on "Glee" will be returning for the show’s fourth season, while one cast member is in discussions for a promotion to series regular, reports Deadline.com.

Chord Overstreet, who has had a recurring role since season two, is reportedly negotiating for a full-time role.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy asked all 15 regulars to return to the fourth season, and apparently "virtually all" accepted the invitation, the story notes. Not every character will be in every episode, although Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are likely to be in most of them, the piece adds.

Other returning cast members are Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr. and Heather Morris, the piece adds.

  1. No one returns to High School! This is going to cause the show what little credibilty it had. It pushed the envelope with its fans last year and this will be bad.
