How Will Claire Danes' Real-Life Pregnancy Play Out on 'Homeland'? People
Actress Claire Danes and husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their first child, reports People magazine. The question now becomes how Danes’ pregnancy will impact production of Showtime's "Homeland."
The short answer is it won’t. Fox 21, which produces the show, did not comment officially on Danes’ pregnancy, but a company spokesperson said that Danes' pregnancy would have no impact on production of the show’s second season.
The season is set to premiere Sept. 30.
Danes won a Golden Globe earlier this year for her portrayal of Carrie Mathison on “Homeland.” She has also won Globes for two other TV gigs -- on “My So-Called Life,” in 1995, and “Temple Grandin,” in 2011. HBO’s “Temple Grandin” also earned Danes an Emmy Award.
