“American Idol” judge and pop singing star Jennifer Lopez is working on something else entirely, Deadline.com reports. Her latest project is a drama series that she has in development for ABC Family.

The story reports: “The so far untitled series is about a lesbian couple who suddenly have their already child-heavy homehold turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl moves in. One of the mothers is a cop, the other is a private school teacher. They have one biological son and adopted teen twins, one a boy, the other a girl.”

Lopez, who will executive produce with her Nuyorican Productions partner Simon Fields, reportedly also intends to appear in a guest role on the show. The cable net has the project on a fast track, the story reports.
