NBCUniversal, G4 Sued by 'Attack of the Show' Producers Deadline
Segment producers for "Attack of the Show" have filed a class-action suit against the G4 Network and owner NBCUniversal Media over pay, classification and what they claim are unfair businesses practices, reports Deadline.com.
The lawsuit was filed by Sean Jordan, Bruce Greene and Yaniv Fituci, who claim the network intentionally misclassified them so as not to pay "all the wages to which they were and are entitled under federal and California law” when they worked more than 40 hours a week, according to the story.
The lawsuit alleges that one of the show's executive producers chastised Jordan, who currently works for G4, for asking about hiring more people to handle a heavier work load, the piece adds.
The trio also alleges that G4 and NBCUniversal failed to maintain accurate payrolls and withheld wages. Greene and Fituci left "Attack of the Show" in 2011 after four years of working for the program.
