TNT apparently knows it has a hit on its hands with a new drama series. After only three episodes aired, the cable channel ordered a second season of its “Dallas” reboot, B&C reports.

The drama network ordered 15 new episodes of the series, with the second season scheduled to debut in 2013, the piece notes.

The reboot of the original "Dallas" drama ranks as cable’s top scripted series premiere for the year-to-date, with its June 13 debut drawing 7.8 million viewers in live +3 for the two-hour show, the piece notes.
