ABC News and Univision are closing in on a name for their joint venture, with a number of choices in contention, reports TVNewser.com.
The names under consideration include VZTA (pronounced "vista"), Accent, UNA and U&A, the story notes. The new cable network could "own" either VZTA or Accent, while UNA and U&A are based on the names of the two parent companies, the piece points out.
The prospective names were filed in September with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office by Univision ABC News Network LLC, the piece notes.
The cable network is slated to debut in 2013.
