NBC won a bidding war among multiple networks for a comedy project from "The Office" producer Greg Daniels, reports Deadline.com.

The comedy, written by "The Office" writer Robert Padnick, tracks four city residents who deal with the pitfalls in their romantic relationships, the story says. Daniels is set to executive produce the project, which landed at NBC with a large penalty, the piece adds.
