Comedian Russell Brand was sued for allegedly hitting a pedestrian with his car earlier this year, reports TMZ.com.
Plaintiff Victor Sneed filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleging that Brand was driving "negligently" when he hit Sneed in January, the story notes. Sneed claims he was a pedestrian and suffered property damage and personal injury, and incurred hospital costs, as a result.
Sneed is suing for more than $25,000. Brand didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, according to the piece.
