The Saturday night game of the week will be televised on CBS Sports Network in prime time, with the first telecast set for March 23, 2013. At the end of the season, the league's ArenaBowl XXVI championship game will be broadcast on CBS on Aug. 17.
In a statement, Dan Weinberg, senior vice president of programming for CBS Sports Network, said, "We're excited to partner with the AFL and bring this fast-paced, high-energy style of football to viewers. The AFL has an established fan base and adds to our already robust lineup of football programming."
