Chuck Lorre Apologizes for 'Idiotic Game Shows' Comment THR
"Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre apologized for calling "The Bachelor" an example of "idiotic game shows," according to The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed.
Lorre made the comment about the show in one of his vanity cards airing at the end of "The Big Bang Theory." He apologized on Thursday's vanity card, writing that he was wrong to view the show through "the tired old eyes of '60s feminism" when in fact the nation is in a "post-feminist era," the story notes.
"Women are now free to do anything they want, and that includes going on a reality show and using all their female wiles to snag Mr. Right," Lorre noted. "I really don't know what else to say except, 'I'm sorry and, um... you go, girl!'"
