"CSI" producer Carol Mendelsohn is developing a new drama for CBS, marking her third sale this development season, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

Mendelsohn, who is also the showrunner for "CSI," is adapting the book "Here If You Need Me," a memoir about a woman who becomes a minister after she’s widowed. CBS has given a script commitment to the project.

The book’s author, Kate Braestrup, will serve as an executive consultant, while the book will be adapted by "Jury Duty" writer Neil Tolkin. Mendelsohn also has "Second Sight" in development at CBS and "Jane Whitefield" at the CW.
