The California Supreme Court denied an appeal from former "Desperate Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan, representing another defeat for the actress in her wrongful termination lawsuit, reports Deadline.com.
The actress suffered a defeat in September, when the California 2nd District Court of Appeal denied her petition for a rehearing of the suit. The lawsuit over her claims that she was fired from the show in retaliation after claiming show creator Marc Cherry struck her ended in a mistrial in March.
Neither Sheridan nor ABC’s lawyers responded to requests for comment, according to the report.
