USA Network Cancels Its Lowest-Rated Scripted Series Deadline
USA Network has canceled a drama series that was its lowest-rated scripted show, Deadline.com reports. The show, which aired on Fridays during its freshman season, is "Common Law," starring Michael Ealy and Warren Kole.
The series had already been written off, with the options on its stars lapsing and executive producer/showrunner Craig Sweeny moving on to CBS's new show "Elementary" as an executive producer, the story notes.
The show debuted in May, drawing 2.48 million viewers for the premiere, and attracted just over 2 million viewers throughout the season.
