USA Network has canceled one of its drama series and is close to a renewal on another show, Deadline.com reports. Getting a pink slip after two seasons is "Fairly Legal," while "Burn Notice" is poised for a seventh season.

The cancellation of "Fairly Legal" comes after the network revamped the show following its freshman season, giving the program a new showrunner and tweaking the cast. The second season started with 3.5 million viewers, but dropped to 2.5 million by the end of the season.

Star Sarah Shahi was recently cast in a recurring role on "Chicago Fire."

"Burn Notice" is likely to receive a 13-episode pickup, smaller than its 18-episode fourth, fifth and sixth seasons, the report notes.
