ABC ordered four new pilots Tuesday, including a drama from “ER’s” David Zabel and a comedy executive produced by “Office” writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, TVLine.com reports.

“The Zabel project, ‘Betrayal,’ centers on a beautiful but unhappily married female photographer who begins a torrid affair with a lawyer for a powerful family,” the piece reports. “When he turns out to be defending a murder suspect who is being prosecuted by her husband, the relationship and the case begin a spiraling series of betrayals with cataclysmic results for everyone involved.”

The sitcom from Eisenberg and Stupnitsky is “Pulling,” which “follows three dysfunctional women in their 30s living their lives the way they want, even if society tells them they should have it all figured out by this point,” the story says.

Also among ABC’s pilot orders: the drama “The Returned,” from Aaron Zelman (“The Killing”); and the “Romeo and Juliet”-esque soap “Venice,” written by Byron Balasco (“Without a Trace”).
