"Girls" creator Lena Dunham is working on a new comedy show for HBO, which she is creating with Jenni Konner, an executive producer on “Girls,” reports The New York Times’ Media Decoder.
The new project is a pilot about a personal shopper in New York, the story says. It’s based on a memoir by Betty Halbreich called "All Dressed Up and Everywhere to Go," which was about her work as a shopper for Bergdorf Goodman, a high-end department store that caters to New York’s elite.
HBO had earlier purchased the rights to the book.
