NBC Cancels Series E! Online
NBC announced it has canceled one of its prime-time series, reports E! Online.
The network pulled the plug on the drama "Do No Harm" after the airing of just two episodes of the series.
Says the article, "The news shouldn't come as much of a shock as 'Do No Harm' debuted to the lowest ratings ever. As in, ever. It was the lowest-rated, in-season premiere of any scripted series ever on the big four networks. The second episode fared even worse, bringing in only 2.2 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the [18-49] demo."
The story notes that the series starred " 'Rescue Me's' Steven Pasquale as as a doctor with two personalities, à la Jekyll and Hyde."
The article says "Repeats of 'Law & Order: SVU' will replace the previously scheduled episodes of 'Do No Harm' that were set to air on Feb. 14 and Feb. 21."
