According to a number of media outlets, NBC has confirmed its ‘scary’ choice to replace Sharon Osbourne as a judge on "America’s Got Talent."

"Mel B, known as Scary Spice in the all-girl singing group [the Spice Girls], will join judges Howard Stern and Howie Mandel on ‘Talent,’ which has been summer’s highest-rated network offering," reports USA Today.

The story adds that Mel B  "has previously served as a judge on the Australian version of ‘The X Factor.’ "

Osbourne announced last year that she was leaving ‘Talent.’ Both Mel B and Osbourne are British, the report notes.
