ABC News, which has already lost a number of key players in recent weeks, is losing another one. Politico reports that senior investigative reporter Richard Esposito is headed to NBC News.

The move follows the recent losses of “20/20” co-anchor Chris Cuomo, White House correspondent Jake Tapper and “Good Morning America” senior Washington producer Virginia Moseley — all to CNN — along with the move of John Berman to CNN back in May.

“Esposito, a member of Brian Ross’s investigative unit, leaves after almost 12 years with the network, during which he focused on homeland security and the criminal justice system,” the piece reports. “He was the recipient of numerous awards for investigative reporting, particularly on interrogation techniques, and is also the author of the book ‘Bomb Squad: A Year Inside the Nation’s Most Exclusive Police Unit.’"
