National Geographic Channel is embarking upon a third collaboration with Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly, with the network agreeing to adapt his forthcoming book "Killing Jesus: A History," according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

The adaptation, from Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, comes after the network drew big audiences for O’Reilly’s "Killing Lincoln" last month, the story notes. A record 3.4 million viewers watched the show, which starred Bill Campbell as President Lincoln.

Nat Geo is also working on an adaptation of "Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot," also from O’Reilly, the story notes.

Production on "Killing Jesus," which follows the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion, will start in the fall.
