Fox News, in 'Somewhat of a Departure,' Adds Show Built Around Former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model THR

Fox News is adding a new lifestyle show starring a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new weekend show stars Carol Alt.

In what's described in the story as "somewhat of a departure" for the network, the supermodel will focus on beauty and healthy living advice, rather than politics.

Alt has appeared on about 700 magazine covers, and has had a modest movie career -- including starring in the 2004 Canadian feature “Snakehead Terror” -- along with some minor TV appearances such as a guest spot on "Wings." More recently she finished third on “Celebrity Apprentice.”

The Fox News show will debut in the summer.
