'Today' Weekend Anchor Comes out as Gay -- and Pregnant People
The weekend anchor for NBC’s “Today” show revealed that she's gay and is pregnant with her first child. People magazine reports that Jenna Wolfe is expecting her first child with her partner, NBC News correspondent Stephanie Gosk.
"This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to us,” Wolfe said. “But I don’t want to bring my daughter into a world where I’m not comfortable telling everyone who I am and who her mother is.”
The couple, who have been together for three years, decided that Wolfe would carry the baby, and have undergone artificial insemination with an anonymous donor, the story says.
The couple is also planning to get married, the story adds.
