Disney XD Renews Breakout Comedy Deadline
Disney XD renewed a comedy series that has been a breakout hit for the network. Deadline.com reports that the channel will bring back "Crash & Bernstein" for a second season, with the network aiming for a fall 2013 premiere.
The series tracks Wyatt Bernstein, played by Cole Jensen, as a boy who wants a brother, and gets his wish when his "Build-a-Bestie" toy comes to life as Crash, a puppet that's voiced by Tim Lagasse. The show will resume production in Van Nuys, Calif., in July, the story says.
