Oscar Winner, Music Superstar Set for 'SNL' Season Finale USA Today
NBC revealed that an Oscar-winning actor and a music superstar will be in the lineup for the season finale of “Saturday Night Live.” USA Today reports that Ben Affleck, who directed the Oscar-winning film “Argo,” will make his fifth appearance as host.
The finale to the show’s 38th season, set for May 18, will also feature Kanye West as the musical act.
Also on tap for upcoming episodes are Zach Galifianakis and former “SNL” cast member Kristen Wiig.
“Galifianakis, who can be seen in ‘The Hangover Part III’ starting May 24, will host the May 4 episode (all episodes, 11:30 p.m. ET/PT), which will feature Iceland's Of Monsters and Men as a first-time musical guest,” the story reports.
The piece adds: “Wiig, whose upcoming film appearances include ‘Girl Most Likely’ and ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues,’ will make her first appearance as host on May 11. Vampire Weekend will make its third appearance as musical guest.”
